A new year... And a new obsession

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL YOU GLAMOROUS AND FABULOUS  PEOPLE OUT THERE!

Wow! Still doesn't feel like we are in a new year, 2013. 2012 has been a crazy busy year for me and as such I had to take a long break from the blogging world for almost a year now. As it is the very first day of what should be an even better year, I am going to introduce a different but definitely glamorous post on interior decoration ones every month and will love to hear your views on this topic.
Brought forth by moving into a new apartment/room, this is my latest obsession, interior design.

I am generally very bad at interior designs but with the move into a new apartment/room, this topic had me glued unto my pc screen, googling ideas and getting inspiration from different magazines and websites. These few designs  jumped at me and got me thinking of how to use these ideas in creating a chic, modern but relaxed room within my budget......

I specifically love this design because I read a lot of novels and have stacks of books with no bookshelf to store them in.

I like this design because an all white room makes it easier to play with colors, textures and different patterns and also creating different looks.

I just love the minimalistic design of these two designs. I would have preferred a white headboard for the second design though.
