Hey everyone, hope you all having yourselves a very lovely sunday.
The rain my side of the world is just putting a stop to everything i had plan for the day :( but todays post is a quick post on a few (4 to be exact) pictures i took yesterday at an event held here in East London.
I really wasn't prepared to take pics, which I know i should have been since am a blogger and need to be ready to take pics anywhere ( Note to self: get a camera with good lense soon)!!!
Unfortunately I could only take four pics because my battery had died (reasons why I need to get a camera soon).... here we go:

I love the colour combination she had on. Nude pink shirt and navy shorts both from Mr.Price.

Her floral print shoes and blue floral shorts are just stunning!

Dnt they just look so lovely in my fav prints? Love their leopard print dresses!

I appologize for this picture being so dark, I was soo whipped over her navy vintage blazer and forgot to switch on the flash!
She wore her vintage blazer with an equally vintage dress and handbag.

I will make it a point to be prepared to take pictures where ever i go and also invest in a good camera with great lenses!

The New Craze: HIGH WAISTED WIDE LEG PANTS!

I am currently in love with the high waisted wide leg pants!
These however are not for everyone. Its for this very reason
why you hardly see these dominating the streets. But the relaxed, feminine and sophistication feel they bring to a woman's body structure is just stunning!

Working the look however isn't as simple as working a look with any other pants. I will therefore give you steps on how to wear the wide leg pants courtesy of .
How to wear wide leg pants

•With heels. Flats will simply never complete the look as well as heels will; the exception is if you’re carrying off a very masculine look with man-style flats.

•With a slim-fitting top to balance out the volume on the bottom half. A soft, billowing blouse can also work well but is best broken up with a waist-cinching belt.

•With utter 70s glamour: wide-leg trouser, platforms and a big floppy hat.

•Female dandy style – look to vintage icons like Katharine Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich for inspiration.

•With 40s pin-up girl flair, by pairing some wide-legged sailor pants with nautical stripes and espadrilles.

does anyone remember these suspender high waisted skirts from back then? my mom had me wear one of these when i was about 5 or 6. And this has become the inspiration behind the high waisted shirt somehow :'D

A Midnight At The Mall :'D

Hey dolls, hope you all doing great! The significant other and I took a random trip to Hemminways mall/casino at midnight yesterday and I had the chance to snap away at a few lovely pieces which i have been admiring:hope you like them. {We have a record of losing every penny we have at the casino so instead of gambling after a few drinks, we decided to take a walk through the mall instead }

D.I.Y

Am a big fan of ankara fabrics as you all know by now. So after getting enough inspiration from A Pair & a Spare, I decided to make my own Ayikai Couture inspired bracelet.
Things I use:
1.An old bracelet
2.Ankara fabric
3.Small gold beads
4. Thread and Needle
5.Super glue

Method:
1.Measure the length and width of the bracelet
2.Measure and cut a piece of the ankara fabric according to the measurements taken from the bracelet.
3. Sew the ankara fabric unto the old bracelet.( the stitches should be made inside the bracelet)
4.Glue the beads unto the ankara fabric in anyway you want.
5. Allow the glue to dry for a few seconds and your bracelet is ready to be worn :)

This was the old bracelet, which I've had for years.

And this is the ankara inspired bracelet I made :)
